Highlights of 2014

The year is almost over, where did the time go? I know it is such a cliché thing to say, but I really feel like this year has gone by so fast, yet there has happened so many things! 2014 has been a year where there been going so many things on in my life - some good things and some bad. But to look back at the year I thought I would focus on the good things rather on the bad ones. I therefore thought I would make a list of some of the good things I have experienced in 2014, just to remember that is was a good year. What are some on your favourite things that have happened for you this year?
I have gathered some of the highlights of my year so I can look back and remember 2014 as the year where I…

Started my blog. A thing I have wanted to do for so long, but this year I finally got my self together to actually start one.

Saw One Direction perform, something I have wanted to do for ages and it was the best night and concert ever! *fangirl moment*

Graduated High School. Which I something I have looked forward to do ever since I started High School three years ago, so that was really a big thing!

Started my gap-year with a four month stay to a Folk High School (Danish thing), where I lived on a sort of boarding school together with bunch of nice people. I learned a lot about filmmaking and got some new great friends.

Went to Los Angeles to stay in Hollywood for two weeks with my filmmaking team from the Folk High School where I; was audience for some talk shows, saw the Hollywood sign, Went on Venice Beach and filmed a short-film on some of Universals film-sets.

Saw Ed Sheeran perform, another thing I have waited to do for so long and then it finally happened.

Got my first real job in a nursery!

What have been some of your highlights form 2014? Let me know in the comments!

The Christmas Tag

I am trying hard to get into the blogging world again and was reading different blogs to get some inspiration on what to write when I came across  Fleur’s Blog  and saw The Christmas Tag. I really liked the questions and since it theres are less than a week till Christmas I thought it was a good post to make
If you want, you can read Fleur’s Winter Tag right here
Here's mine, hope you enjoy!

What is your favourite Christmas movie?
That is such a hard questions since I really think there is a lot of great films to watch when it is Christmas! But I really love The Holiday and Love Actually. I am a sucker for romantic movies and when it is even about Christmas too it just cannot get better! If you haven’t seen them I highly recommend you to do so!

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Christmas Eve! Where I live (Denmark) we celebrate Christmas on the 24th in the evening, so that’s where our presents opening take place.

Favourite Festive Food?
Everything! Haha, that is one thing I really like about Christmas – it is (almost) all about the food! On the days close to Christmas we always have several balls filled with chocolate, marzipan and other sweets and it is so good! There is snacks everywhere all the time! Another thing I really like is these special “brown” potatoes we cook for Christmas dinner and they are so delicious!

Favourite Christmas Gift?
hmm, I have received a lot of good presents through the years so it is really hard choosing just one .. o:

Favourite Christmas Scent?
Cinnamon! Without a doubt. There is nothing more Christmas-sy than the scent of cinnamon. I love it.

Do you have any Christmas Eve Traditions ?
Watch Disney’s Christmas show with my family, it is a thing we keep on doing and have done it ever since I was a kid. I think that’s when the Christmas atmosphere really steps in!

What tops your tree?
A white glittery star, when I was younger we had a gold star, but I think it got lost somehow.

As a kid what was the one crazy, wild, extravagant, gift you always asked for but never received?
A puppy. Haha, I have always wanted a puppy (I actually still do), but I don’t think I ever really asked for it for Christmas since I knew I wouldn’t be getting any. I just remember how much I wanted to get it like in Lady and the Tramp, Where Lady is being given as a puppy to her owner in a big box with a bow on it. I have always wanted to receive a puppy in a box haha.

What is the best part about Christmas for you?
Being together with my family. It is so good just to spend time with the people you love and just having the best time together J

So that was my edition of “The Christmas Tag”. Hope you enjoyed. Please do the tag yourself and comment with a link to your post! I would love to read  about other peoples thoughts about Christmas!
