Outfit Of The Day

Hi guys :) 

Here’s a little outfit picture from yesterday where I wore my absolute favourite summer dress! 

It is from Forever 21 and a skater/shift dress and I just love it. It sits pretty loose which is really nice when it’s hot outside.

Summer Tag

Hello :)  

Since it’s summer I  thought It would be a good idea to do the summer tag - and who does’t love a tag? 
I have looked at lots of different post with the tag and decided to mix some of the questions up a bit and made my own Summer Tag. If you have done this tag, please leave a comment so I can read it :)
Otherwise I hope you enjoy my version of the summer tag! 

What is your favourite thing about summer?
Everything. I really love summer -  you might as well call me a summer enthusiast. Everything about summer just makes me so happy. The warm weather, no school, relaxing times with your friends and family, going on holiday… everything! 

What is your favourite drink for summer?
Smoothies and lemonades! 

What is your favourite food for summer?
Fruit and ice-cream, haha. I love grapes actually, they’re my favourite. 

BBQ or seafood? 
BBQ as I’m not really a fan of seafood. 

Do you tan or burn?
I tan 100%. 20 minutes outside and I’ll be 5 shades darker. Fortunately my skin colour prevents me from ever having a sun burn. 

Festivals or vacations? 
Vacations 100%! I have never been on a festival though, but I really don’t think it’s for me. But I really love going on a vacation.

Favourite summer nail polish? 
Essie in the colour Fiji. I wear it almost everyday (also when it’s not summer). 

Favourite makeup look for summertime? 
My favourite makeup look on my for summertime is actually no makeup. I don’t like wearing makeup when it’s really hot outside I feel like it’s melting of me and you have sunglasses on most of the time anyway. But when I am wearing makeup in the summer my favourite look is very simple. Mascara, tiny bit of neutral eyeshadow and a lipstick. Maybe a red lipstick to spice if up.

Hello June


It’s June = It’s finally summer again! (and let’s ignore the fact that I haven’t updated my blog ina zillion years) 

So as things are right now I am looking for a job before I start studying in September. But the thing about job is that they are really hard to get. You can write application after application and never get one. You should consider yourself lucky if you even get a rejection. Therefore my plans for June so far are…none. 

A lot of people have said to me that it must be nice just to do nothing. After some really stressed week at school it is very nice not to have anything planned, but after two days I started getting bored. I am not very good an not having anything planned. I like to have a schedule to follow each day and with this “early holiday” as you can call it I just get bored all the time. So, I thought this would be a great time to get back into blogging. Now I have nothing to distract me from sitting down and writing a little blogpost every other day and it is exactly what I am going to do. I will try (read: try -  I may fail miserably after two days) to really get my blog up and going.

2016 Goals

So, I know that I might be a month late, but.. HAPPY NEW YEAR! It’s 2016! Hope you all had a wonderful NYE and that your January has been great so far. 

As almost every other blogger out there I have made some goals/resolutions for 2016. I admit that I suck at keeping my new years resolutions. I find it funny to come up with them and write them down in a fancy notebook, but that’s about it. Then I doesn’t look at them all year. So as you might have guessed I didn’t stick to my resolutions for 2015, but looking back at them now I actually did manage to stick with some of them! *proudly gives myself a highfive*

My goals for 2016 are:

Get at least 8 hours of sleep everyday 
I have a very bad habit of going to bed way too late which result me being a zombie in the morning. That leads to I am mostly feeling tired and not suited for the day at all. Therefore I some days try to go to bed in a reasonable time so that I get at least 8 hours of sleep. And it feels so good! I am not tired in the same way in the  morning and I feel so much more fresh during the day. 
So for this year I am really trying my best to get my 8 hours of sleep. I have actually done it the last couple of weeks (at least it the weekdays) and I love how it makes me feel fresh in the morning. 

Workout at least once a week
After I started in University back in September it take me an hour to get in school in the morning. So I take the train. Which mean whereas I was in high school I use to bike to school everyday I now don’t. This mean I get minimal exercise during the day. 
I feel really inactive (which I also am) and lazy. So next month I am going to join a gym center and start doing fitness. I will try to workout twice a week (one in the weekdays and one time in the weekend). 

Eat healthier + drink lots of water 
It’s not because I eat a lot of junk I just want to try to cut all the little snacks I keep eating during the day. Like when I get home from school and I’m hungry I tend to take a piece of chocolate or maybe a piece of whitbread with nutella, I will now try to eat something healthy and nutritious instead. 
And also I am really bad at drinking enough water. I actually don’t drink a lot during the day. Am I am that kind of person who can finish all my dinner before I get something to drink. Which is really bad! So I will try to drink a lot of water during the day. 

…And my most important one, and the one I know I am actually going to keep:

Get my drivers license  
I have this love/hate relationship with driving. I started driving lessons back in June and was really excited about it and thought I would be driving by myself at the end of the summer. But no. Turned out that driving a car was a massive anxiety trigger for me. I passed my theory test without a problem, but every time I was to get actual driving lessons with me driving a car I got so nervous. I would have anxiety attacks the day befor and totally loose it right before I was going out to drive. So i put it on hold for a while and started considering just to give the whole thing up. But I really wanted to learn how to drive and I hate that my anxiety (which actually hasn’t been really bad the last couple of years) would ruin it for me. Therefore I started taking lessons again, switched between different driven teachers as I didn’t fell comfortable with the firs on and I just felt that I didn’t really get anywhere.
Now I’ve just started with a new driving teacher and he is really nice and I can really see some progress in my driving. So now I am determined to get that drivers license! I am having a driving test very soon and I really hope I’ll pas sit! *fingers crossed*

These were may goals for 2016. I know there is not many, but I think that I actually do have a chance of keeping them, so that’s what counts.
